As usual everyone is welcome and afternoon tea is provided for everyone [Including children]. I look forward to seeing lots of new and old faces there to kick off 2014. Thanks to everyone that has attended a meeting this year, you input and support make a real difference.

Local Discount Card For 2014: At the beginning of first term 2014 we will be participating in an exciting new community program. Ezy Discounts is a Noosa based business offering a local discount card with hundreds of offers that you can use to save money every day throughout the year. The cards are great value for money and will be selling for $15, with the majority of the sales going back to our school. It is a wonderful way to raise funds whilst also promoting local spending in Noosa. Businesses at our school can also take advantage of a FREE listing on the Ezy Discounts online directory just by offering a discount or incentive for cardholders to use their services. To register a discount or for more information visit: www.ezydiscounts.com.au
We look forward to your participation next year and supporting this fantastic community driven program.
Extravaganza: Last Wednesday was an amazing night for those wonderful Noosaville families that attended this year’s Arts Extravaganza. A huge thank you to our amazing staff, parents and students who together, provided our school community with a night of singing, dancing, music, visual art and of course dinner! Well done Noosaville for GETTING INVOLVED!
Athletes Foot: Brochures will be coming home soon to remind families of the community partnership with Athletes Foot at Noosa Civic. Every time a Noosaville family purchases a pair of shoes from the Athletes Foot, they donate $5 to our great school! Because of this great community partnership, this year we were able to purchase an indoor hockey set for our PE Program. Thanks Athletes Foot!
Thank You: I just wanted to take this opportunity to thank the hard working and dedicated team of volunteers we have throughout our school. A successful school like Noosaville just would not be the same without their commitment, passion, hidden talents and nurturing, inspirational personalities. From the tuckshop to the classroom from a fundraising stall to reading support, each and every person that contributes their valuable time shows not just their own children but hundreds of other children within the school that they value their education. Volunteers do not necessarily have the time: they just have the heart... and for that we are truly grateful. Volunteers are invited to join us for a thank you morning tea this Wednesday following junior parade. I look forward to seeing you all there!
I would also like to thank the wonderful executive members of this year’s P&C, Chris Cook, George Wikaira and Karen Berghauser for their support and dedication in ensuring Noosaville State School is a vibrant, exciting and nurturing place for our children to grow up and be educated within a school community. A big thank you also to our wonderful Parent Reps that take the time each week to ensure we all know what is happening around our school and help to encourage a real school community/family. Thank you also to our amazing staff for their support and hard work throughout the year and of course the reason we are all here...our great kids. Thank you to everyone for GETTING INVOLVED in 2013 and I look forward to seeing you all GETTING INVOLVED again in 2014, where we can all work together to make our school the best it can be!
Have a safe and relaxing holiday!
